Tips for a better run from Mo

I’m Sir Mo Farah, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned on my journey, from the streets of West London to the podium at the Olympic Games, it’s this: every step counts.

Welcome to Sip Step and Go with Mo, powered by Buxton & Mind.

This isn’t just any old walking and running platform. It’s your starting line. Whether it’s your first step into a 1K walk or you’re pushing for a new PB, this is your place to build confidence, strength, and a powerful runner’s mindset.

I’ve had my fair share of early mornings, tough sessions, and moments where quitting would’ve been easier. But progress doesn’t come from standing still, it comes from showing up. One sip. One step. One more go.

With Sip Step and Go, we’ll track your journey, celebrate your wins, and keep you moving forward - together. Hydrate* smart with Buxton, move with purpose, and remember: it’s not about being the fastest out there, it’s about being better than you were yesterday.

So come on let’s sip, step, and go with me, Mo Farah

Breathing is really important

Breathe in through your nose & out through your mouth slowly. When you’re tired you automatically want to breathe hard but just try to calm down.

The benefit of ‘easy’ running is to feel good about yourself & get fit

I support my mental health by being able to go out for a run & just connect with people. Often for me I achieve great things when I’m running but it was a way of me being free and feeling good about myself.

Life is full of twist & turns

I believe with my story and what I’ve overcome, it made me resilient and to go out there and not make things complicated, just graft.

Win a place at the Big Half

Buy any 2 Buxton bottles (1L or 750ml, or a 6 x 1.5ltr or 8 x 500ml) for the chance to win a place the Big Half. As well as the chance to win smartwatches and bottle holders.
